This is a photo of Andrew Goldsworthy’s installation across from Inspiration Point in the Presidio. Well worth the effort to see it. There is a nice exhibit next to the Officer’s Club about the piece and the artist.
This is Andrew Goldsworthy’s installation at Stanford University. It is called Rock River and is made of sandstone salvaged from buildings damaged or destroyed during the Loma Prieta earthquake.

My only trip to New York so far was to visit Eric and Christina in their apartment in Greenpoint. This was their view from the rooftop deck.
W. G. Jackman was originally from England, but came to the United States in 1841, where he established a business in New York.
