This is a photo of Andrew Goldsworthy’s installation across from Inspiration Point in the Presidio. Well worth the effort to see it. There is a nice exhibit next to the Officer’s Club about the piece and the artist.
This is Andrew Goldsworthy’s installation at Stanford University. It is called Rock River and is made of sandstone salvaged from buildings damaged or destroyed during the Loma Prieta earthquake.
Mushroom’s that were sprouting in front of the building housing an exhibit about Andrew Goldsworthy’s Presidio installation piece, “Spire”.
